National police training academy announces nationwide song composition competition

Kathmandu: The National Police Training Academy is set to organize a nationwide song composition competition on the occasion of its 70th anniversary.

The academy has announced that it will hold a nationwide open competition to create an official Police Training Academy anthem. According to a notice issued today, individuals interested in participating may submit their song compositions by Magh 15, either by registering at the National Police Training Academy office in Maharajgunj or by sending them via email.

The academy stated that the best song composition selected by the judges will receive a cash prize of Rs 51,000 along with a certificate of appreciation. The compositions securing second and third positions will be published in a magazine issued by the police.

The academy further informed that the selected best composition will be set to music and adopted as the official Police Training Academy anthem.
