Dhangadhi: A program discussing the journalist code of conduct was organized in Kailali, during which Nepal Press Council member Padmaraj Joshi handed over the code of conduct booklet and a written banner to the Kailali branch of the Federation of Nepali Journalists.

Highlighting violations of the code during previous elections, Joshi urged journalists to adhere to the code of conduct in the upcoming elections scheduled for Falgun 21. “Journalists should not only point fingers at others, but also remain committed to their profession,” he said.

Shravan Deuba, President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Kailali, stated that awareness programs will now be conducted in collaboration with the Press Council in Attariya, Tikapur, Bhajani, and Dhangadhi. The program was attended by state president Bharat Shah, central member Yogendra Balayer, former president Arjun Shah, advisor Min Bam, and other officials and media personnel.
