Python rescued from school premises in Ghodaghodi

Kailali: A python was found inside the premises of Janapragatishil Basic School in Dodapari Dipnagar, Ghodaghodi Municipality–8 of Kailali district.

After spotting the python in the school compound, students informed their teachers, following which teacher Hark Bam alerted the concerned authorities.

A rescue team comprising Budhiya Nakrod Community Forest Chairman Manraj Upadhyay, Forest Guard Mahesh Rana from the Sub-Division Forest Office, Sadepani, and others was mobilized to rescue the reptile. The team safely rescued the python.

According to Forest Guard Rana, the python weighs around 12 kilograms and measures approximately 1.5 meters in length. The rescued python was later released into a safe habitat in Nakrod Lake.
