Chief of Army staff returns to Kathmandu after Far-west visit
Dhangadhi: Chief of Army Staff of the Nepal Army, Ashok Raj Sigdel, has returned to Kathmandu following his visit to the Far West. Sigdel returned from Dhangadhi on Thursday.
During his visit, he inspected two regions, including the Far West and the North West region in Surkhet.
As part of the inspection, Chief of Army Staff Sigdel reviewed the security and overall preparedness for the upcoming House of Representatives elections on Falgun 21. The Military Public Relations and Information Directorate instructed officials to perform their assigned responsibilities diligently, according to an official statement.
Sigdel also met and interacted with officials of the Provincial Command Post and the Election Cell. Earlier, he had conducted inspections of the Central West and Western regions.
