Dr. Meraj Alam Ansari receives national health award 2082
Dhangadhi: The ‘Swasthya Darpan National Health Award-2082’ has been concluded in a grand manner, recognizing the contributions of doctors dedicated to the health sector.
Senior General Surgeon of Dhangadhi, Dr. Meraj Alam Ansari, was honored with the prestigious National Health Award-2082 at a special समारोह held at Nepal Pragya Pratishthan in Kamaladi on Saturday. The award was presented by former Health Minister Sudha Gautam Sharma, who attended the program as the chief guest.
Organized on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Swasthya Darpan Media Network, the program acknowledged Dr. Ansari’s significant contributions to health services and medical education, particularly in Dhangadhi of Sudurpaschim Province. The organizers stated that his dedication to patient care, efforts to deliver healthcare services in remote areas, and his role in mentoring the new generation of health workers were highly appreciated despite limited resources.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of Swasthya Darpan Media Network Sandeep Kumar Shrestha said that the country’s health system is becoming stronger due to the commitment of doctors like Dr. Ansari. He added that honoring such individuals at the national level would inspire other health workers to perform better.
During the program, awards were distributed in 20 different categories to doctors, health workers, journalists, and various organizations from all seven provinces for their notable contributions to the health sector.
The award program, organized annually by the Swasthya Darpan Media Network, continues its tradition of recognizing individuals working tirelessly in the health sector and highlighting their contributions. It is expected that such initiatives will further motivate those engaged in healthcare services and spread a positive message in society.
