Seven district sports committees in Sudurpaschim get new chairpersons

Dhangadhi: New chairpersons have been nominated for the district sports committees of seven districts in Sudurpaschim Province. The decision was made at a board meeting of the Provincial Sports Council chaired by Meghraj Khadka.

According to Council Member-Secretary Lok Bahadur Khadka, Dinesh Bhandari has been nominated as chairperson for Kailali, Gyanendra Singh for Kanchanpur, Bhupen Chand for Baitadi, Gokul Bahadur Shah for Achham, Kamal Bahadur Singh for Bajhang, Kopila Kumari Singh for Bajura, and Jagat Bahadur Air for Dadeldhura.

The newly appointed chairpersons have been given a four-year term. The council has stated that the terms of the existing chairpersons in Doti and Darchula districts are still continuing, as appointments there had already been made earlier.
