Six individuals arrested for gambling in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested six individuals on charges of gambling in Dhangadhi.

The arrests were made on Monday evening when police apprehended Dharbendra Koli, 38, along with six others while they were gambling at Koli’s residence in Shantinagar, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-1.

Acting on a confidential tip-off, a police team deployed from the Ward Police Office, Dhangadhi carried out the operation. The suspects were taken into custody along with Rs 99,300 in cash and six decks of playing cards.

Police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
