Foundation stone laid for hostel building at Radhakrishna Secondary School, Gopaghat

Doti: The foundation stone of a hostel building has been laid as part of the program to develop Radhakrishna Secondary School, Gopaghat in Doti district as a state model school.

The foundation stone of a six-room hostel building to be constructed under the fiscal year 2082/83 program was laid on Wednesday.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was held under the chief hospitality of Shikhar Municipality Mayor Dirgha Bahadur Balayar. Speaking at the program, Mayor Balayar expressed confidence that the municipality has prioritized infrastructure development in the education sector and said that the construction of the model school will help improve the quality of education.

The school management committee, teachers, parents, and local stakeholders were present on the occasion. After the construction of the hostel building, it is expected that students coming from distant areas will have easier access to residential facilities.
