Budhitola tourism festival inaugurated in Godavari Municipality

Dhangadhi: The Budhitola Tourism Festival has been inaugurated in Budhitola, Ward No. 4 of Godavari Municipality, Kailali. Godavari Municipality Mayor Birendra Bhatta inaugurated the festival during a ceremony held on Thursday.

Prior to the inauguration, a morning procession was carried out at Budhitola Bazaar with musical instruments. The festival, which will continue until Baisakh 23, will feature performances by national and local artists including Alina Chauhan, Pushkal Sharma, Jyoti Magar, Chakra Bam, Tanka Timalsina, and Kamal Birahi, according to the organizer Budhitola Area Tourism Promotion Committee.

Tickets for the festival have been set at Rs 50 for students and Rs 100 per person for others, while entry has been made free for persons with disabilities.

The inauguration program was chaired by committee coordinator Haridatta Bhattarai and attended by local representatives from Godavari and Chure, representatives of various organizations, artists, and local residents.
