Kathmandu: Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has warned Shram Sanskriti Party MPs to behave in accordance with parliamentary policies and rules. The Speaker issued the warning after the party’s lawmakers continued their protest in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

Shram Sanskriti Party MPs stood from their seats and protested, stating that the minister had not responded to their queries. Discussions are ongoing in the House of Representatives regarding answers and clarifications to questions raised during the debate on the Appropriation Bill.

MP Harkaraj Rai of the party claimed that Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari had not answered his questions. MP Rai attempted to seek clarification again after the minister had already responded. However, Speaker Aryal stated that there would be no clarification on the clarification.

Speaker Aryal said, “It is the duty of all MPs to follow the orders of the Speaker. I warn Shram Sanskriti Party MPs to comply with their duties.”

Despite repeated requests from the Speaker to take the floor, the MPs affiliated with the party continued their protest by approaching the bell. Speaker Aryal urged the members to take their seats and cooperate, stating that parliamentary proceedings are being conducted in accordance with established rules and regulations.
