Demand for free treatment for injured in Bajhang jeep accident

Dhangadhi: A demand has been made for free treatment for injured in Bajhang jeep accident.

CPN-UML MP Ain Bahadur Mahar has demanded the government to arrange free treatment for those injured in the Bajhang jeep accident.

On Ashad 10, a Bolero jeep heading from Bungal Municipality in Bajhang to Kedarsyun Rural Municipality met with an accident in Sungure of Durgathali Rural Municipality-6, killing three people on the spot.

Chakra Bahadur Mahat, Kuturi Devi Mahat of Durgathali Rural Municipality-6, and Imala Mahat Dhami of Kedarsyun Rural Municipality-7 died in the accident.

About 12 people were injured in the accident, and 8 of them are in serious condition.

He thanked the government for rescuing the injured by helicopter as it would take a long time to rescue them by road due to the remote area.
