Japanese company JICA to help The CAAN

VHF omnidirectional range (VOR) and distance measuring equipment (DME) are being custom made by a Japanese company JICA for the up-gradation of Dhangadhi Airport. The airport has no night flights and flights during harsh weather. The new instruments will enhance the visibility radius and analyze the winds’ direction. It’s expected to be provided to the CAAN in the next eight months time.
