Complete vehicle ban imposed in Bajura ahead of elections to ensure security

Bajura: A complete ban on the operation of vehicles has been imposed in Bajura from 12 midnight on Falgun 20 to maintain security during the House of Representatives elections.

According to a notice issued by the District Administration Office, Bajura, the operation of all types of public and private vehicles is prohibited until the conclusion of the elections scheduled for Falgun 21, aiming to ensure a peaceful voting process.

The notice specifies that only ambulances, fire engines, blood transfusion vehicles, hearses, vehicles of security agencies, and essential service vehicles involved in electricity, drinking water, sewage, and telecommunication maintenance will be allowed to operate.

The District Administration Office has warned that anyone found operating a vehicle in violation of the rules during this period will face action in accordance with prevailing law.
