RSP leads proportional representation votes in Far-west province

Dhangadhi: Direct vote counting has concluded in all 16 constituencies of the House of Representatives elections in Far West Province. In the direct vote results, the National Independent Party (RSP) secured victories in 10 constituencies, while Nepali Congress and CPN-UML candidates won in three constituencies each.

Following the completion of direct vote counting, proportional representation vote counting is now underway. Out of approximately nine lakh votes cast across the province, more than six lakh votes have been counted so far.

According to the Election Commission, the RSP is leading in proportional representation in Far West Province, having received 272,147 votes. Nepali Congress is in second place with 142,457 votes.

Similarly, CPN-UML has received 109,199 votes, the Nepal Communist Party 84,343 votes, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) 31,327 votes, Civil Liberties Party Nepal 19,360 votes, and Labor Culture Party 4,935 votes. Other parties have received less than three thousand votes each.
