‘Dhangadhi Daudincha’ half marathon rescheduled to Baisakh 18 for better preparation

Dhangadhi: The date of the annual ‘Dhangadhi Daudincha’ program organized by Dhangadhi Jaycees has been changed this year. The half marathon, which was traditionally held on Baisakh 1, will now take place on Baisakh 18.

A meeting held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Jaycees President Maheshwor Ojha decided to postpone the event in order to make the preparations more systematic and effective. The half marathon will be conducted under the main slogan ‘Dhangadhi Daudincha’.

Dipesh Bohara has been assigned the responsibility of main coordinator of the program. According to the organizers, the event aims to promote health awareness and strengthen sports culture in the region.
