Four arrested with heroin in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Four individuals have been arrested with brown heroin in Kanchanpur district.

Sunil Chaudhary, 22, and Hasib Chaudhary, 18, of Beldandi Rural Municipality-3, were arrested from Banpuruwa in the same ward with 860 milligrams of illegal brown heroin. A police team deployed from Police Post Bhunda apprehended them with the substance on Sunday afternoon.

In a separate incident, police arrested Akash Dagaura, 25, of Betkot Municipality-5, with 10 grams 520 milligrams of illegal brown heroin during a check at Darsikhalla in Belauri Municipality-10. He was riding pillion on a motorcycle (S.P.P. 02-003P. 2373) driven by Ishwar Dagaura, 32, of Ojhakhali, Betkot Municipality-6. A team from the Area Police Office, Beldandi, took both individuals into custody along with the motorcycle on Sunday evening.

Police said that further investigation into the incidents is underway.
