Godavari municipality ward No. 12 ward office building inaugurated in Kailali
Attaria: The ward office building of Godavari Municipality Ward No. 12 in Kailali has been inaugurated. Godavari Municipality Mayor Birendra Bhatta inaugurated the ward office building on Monday.
Speaking at the inauguration program, he said that the municipality was saddened by the delay in building all the wards even though it had tried to build all the wards in 2079 BS. He said that the delay in building the building was due to the municipality not having its own land.
“The construction of this building had started after getting a land donor for the construction of the ward office building,” he said, “This is how everyone’s cooperation is needed for the development of the municipality.”
He said that preparations were being made to start the construction of the ward office building in wards No. 10 and 2 of Godavari in a few days, while the building is under construction in ward No. 3. He said that there was a problem in building the building due to land problems in ward No. 6. He thanked the building construction company for completing the work before the construction period.
Ward Chairman Bhim Bahadur Khadka said that today was a happy day for the ward. He said that the delay was due to the inability to provide free land for the construction of the building, and now that the land is available, it is easy to build the building.
He thanked Sher Bahadur Luhar BK and Prem Bahadur Badaila for donating the land and also thanked Upreti Builders for completing the construction before the construction period. He said that even though the building was constructed, it was very easy to carry out the daily work of the ward.
A contract agreement was signed with Upreti Builders and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. for the construction of the building for Rs. 62,65,283 including VAT. Although the construction period of the building was until mid-Ashar, the construction work was completed before the period and it came into operation.
Sher Bahadur Luhar BK and Prem Bahadur Badaila, who donated free land for the construction of the building, were honored with a dosala at the program. The names of the donors who donated land for the construction of the building are also mentioned in the inscription built in front of the building.
