Government committed to eliminating injustice and corruption: PM Shah
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that the government is committed to eliminating injustice and eradicating corruption in order to lead the country towards good governance.
Responding to a query from National Independent Party MP Kavindra Burlakoti during today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Shah stated that the government will remain active in all possible ways to eradicate corruption.
MP Burlakoti thanked the government for declaring the first year as a year of good governance and also noted that various bodies are under the supervision of ministers and MPs. While lawmakers viewed the Prime Minister’s appearance in the House to respond to queries positively, opposition MPs drew attention to the fact that the written question-and-answer session could not be conducted in accordance with procedural rules.
