Kanchanpur police report 19 drug cases, 36 arrests in Jestha

Kanchanpur: The District Police Office, Kanchanpur has made public its institutional progress report for the month of Jestha. According to the report, police achieved notable success in controlling drug trafficking and customs evasion from border areas during the month.

The police registered 19 drug-related cases, which are currently under investigation. In the process, 36 male accused have been arrested.

Authorities recovered 27.78 grams of brown heroin (brown sugar) and 5.90 grams of hashish from the arrested individuals. The report states that no marijuana was seized during the month.

In addition, illegal liquor worth an estimated Rs 24,600 has also been recovered.
