Dhangadhi woman found dead in Kathmandu guesthouse, police suspect murder

Kathmandu: A young woman from Dhangadhi has been found dead in a guesthouse at Naya Bus Park in Kathmandu.

According to Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Information Officer of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, the deceased has been identified as Nisha Sunuwar, estimated to be around 25 to 30 years old.

Police said Sunuwar had been living in Machhapokhari and was originally from Ward No. 7 of Dhangadhi Municipality, Kailali. Authorities suspect that she may have been murdered.

Her body has been kept at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem examination.

The District Police Range, Kathmandu is conducting an investigation into the suspected murder. Police have stated that no relatives have yet come forward to identify Sunuwar.
