Authorities conduct monitoring and inspection of Kailali Prison

Kailali: Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Pushparaj Shahi, Kailali Chief District Officer Hiralal Regmi and Chief Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Kailali Narendra Chand jointly monitored and inspected the Kailali Prison security guard on Sunday.

During the inspection, the team reviewed the prison’s security arrangements, prisoner accommodation, cleanliness, health services and overall management system.

Following the inspection, concerned authorities were instructed to implement necessary reform measures to make the prison more effective, secure and organized. The team also emphasized the need to further strengthen security arrangements while giving special attention to the basic services and facilities available to prisoners.
