Former Prime Minister Deuba scheduled to return home on Shrawan10
Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and former President of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is currently abroad for medical treatment, is scheduled to return to Nepal on Shrawan10.
According to Congress leader Prakash Sharan Mahat, Deuba will return home from Hong Kong on the same day. “I have received information that he is scheduled to return home on Shrawan10,” Mahat said.
Deuba had traveled to Singapore for treatment before the election. After completing treatment there, he went to Hong Kong for further medical care and is now returning to Nepal from there.
Earlier, Deuba had informed the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority and other concerned bodies that he would return to Nepal within July.
Meanwhile, the Deuba faction is preparing to organize a national gathering from July 10 to 12 under the coordination of former General Secretary Shashank Koirala. However, no formal decision has been made regarding Deuba’s participation in the gathering.
