Sher Bahadur Deuba Unanimously Elected Regional Representative from Dadeldhura
Dhangadhi: Sher Bahadur Deuba, former President of the Nepali Congress, has been unanimously elected as a regional representative for the party’s 15th General Convention.
He was unanimously elected during the ward convention of Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality-1 in his home district of Dadeldhura.
According to Ward President Padam Mahata, Deuba filed his candidacy by authorizing local resident Kaushila Devi Deuba to act as his representative through a power of attorney.
Bhanu Deuba, Deuba’s personal secretary, was also elected as a regional representative from the same ward. He, too, had filed his candidacy through a representative.
Deuba has consistently been elected as a representative starting from the ward level in previous general conventions as well.
