Nripa Bahadur Sunar Announces Candidacy for Nepali Congress Kailali President

Dhangadhi: Nripa Bahadur Sunar has announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Nepali Congress Kailali.

Sunar made the announcement during a press conference in Dhangadhi on Friday, stating that he would contest the post of president in the upcoming district convention.

Having transitioned from student politics to mainstream party politics, Sunar currently serves as Secretary of the Nepali Congress Kailali. He has also been elected as a General Convention representative from Kailali Constituency No. 5 for the party’s 15th General Convention.

Announcing his candidacy, Sunar stated that his goal is to unite the Kailali Congress by assuming the role of district president. He emphasized his commitment to strengthening party unity and further consolidating the organization.

The district convention of the Congress is scheduled to take place after the central general convention. Sunar is also a former member of the Sudurpaschim Policy and Planning Commission.
