Collaboration among teachers, students, and parents key to improving learning, says Krishnapur Municipality
Kanchanpur: Krishnapur Municipality has initiated several measures to enhance the quality of school education, aiming to increase students’ success rates in the upcoming Secondary Education Examination (SEE) and improve overall educational standards.
Mayor Hemraj Ojha emphasized that education remains the top priority for the municipality. “We are committed to improving the quality of education to ensure no student falls behind in the SEE examination, every school becomes a center of success, and Krishnapur Municipality sets an example in education,” he stated.
Discussions have been held with principals of 13 secondary schools within the municipality to enhance educational quality and achieve excellent SEE results. Mayor Ojha noted that the municipality has focused on improving school evaluation systems, incorporating technical teaching methods, and adopting modern approaches to student learning assessment.
Education Branch Chief Ganesh Bahadur Chand highlighted that cooperation among teachers, students, and parents is essential for improving learning outcomes. Plans have been introduced for regular school monitoring, conducting extra classes, and organizing parent awareness programs.
School principals requested support from the municipality to improve teaching methods, physical infrastructure, and educational materials. In response, the municipality has been implementing programs including digital teaching methods, teacher capacity development training, and student motivation initiatives.
Mayor Ojha reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to enhancing education quality at all levels, from basic to secondary education, and outlined plans to provide essential infrastructure and learning materials to all schools in the area.
