Dhangadhi: Former Nepal head coach and President of the Nepal Coaches Association, Jagat Tamta, conducted a training session for the DCA U-16 team during its tour of Mumbai.

Coach Tamta arrived at the ground before the start of the team’s fifth day of play and provided training and guidance to the young players. He encouraged them to compete with discipline and dedication, reminding them that they are representing the country. Olympian Deepak Bista also visited the field to motivate and boost the morale of the team.

Today, DCA is playing its fifth match against Mumbai’s Worli Sports Club at its home ground.

The DCA team traveled to Mumbai a few days ago with the objective of receiving cricket training and gaining international exposure. During the tour, the team is scheduled to play friendly matches against six different local clubs in Mumbai.

According to DCA Manager Sandeep Bhatt, the team will also observe live World Cup cricket matches between various countries, including Nepal, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The visit is expected to significantly contribute to the young players’ experience, skill development, and confidence in competing in an international environment.
