Chief Minister Bhatta to inspect Seti Provincial Hospital every 15 days
Dhangadhi: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Khagraj Bhatta has decided to inspect Seti Provincial Hospital every 15 days. He made the announcement during his visit to the hospital on Sunday. Bhatta, who was appointed Chief Minister on Friday, visited Seti Provincial Hospital along with Social Development Minister Santosh Sharma Thapa. After inspecting the toilet connected to the hospital’s emergency room, Bhatta directed the hospital administration to maintain cleanliness and address other related issues. During the inspection, Chief Minister Bhatta and Minister Thapa also interacted with patients and listened to their concerns. Bhatta indicated that his government would prioritize health services. Seti Provincial Hospital, which has the highest patient load in the province, has been facing challenges in service delivery due to a shortage of manpower and inadequate physical infrastructure. Although the hospital has an approved capacity of 50 beds, arrangements have been made to provide services through a hospital management committee and doctors and health workers appointed under various programs. Patients seeking treatment at the hospital have reported difficulties in receiving effective health services from Seti Provincial Hospital.
