Woman Seriously Injured After Snakebite in Kanchanpur; Condition Critical

Kanchanpur:A woman has been seriously injured due to a snakebite in Khalla Dhaiya, Ward No. 4 of Krishnapur Municipality, Kanchanpur district.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 05:00 AM on 2083/01/31 BS, when local resident Lila Lamichhane was fetching water from her home tap. She was bitten by a snake on the sole of her right foot.

The injured Lamichhane was immediately taken to Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi, Kailali, where she is currently receiving treatment. Hospital sources stated that her condition remains critical.
