Two bodies found in Kavrepalanchok forest, including Armed police inspector and young woman from Kailali
Kavrepalanchok: The bodies of two people have been found in the Thuli Community Forest of Panchkhal Municipality-3, Kavrepalanchok. The deceased have been identified as Shakti Ram, a resident of Ramnagari, Bahudarmai-8, Parsa, and 26-year-old Sharmila Chaudhary of Ghodaghodi Municipality-1, Kailali. Their bodies were found hanging from a tree in the Thuli Community Forest at 10:30 am on Wednesday. Shakti Ram is an Assistant Inspector of the Armed Police Force. He had been missing since April 19, according to DSP Rabin Bista of the District Police Office, Kavre. According to him, investigations have revealed that 26-year-old Sharmila of Kailali had also gone to meet Armed Police Inspector Shakti on April 18. After Sharmila left home on April 18 and did not make contact for three to four days, her brother Ranjit Chaudhary filed a complaint at the Balaju Police Circle on April 25, he informed. “Their bodies were found hanging from different trees,” DSP Bista said. “Only the skull was found hanging. The rest was scattered on the ground.” Their bodies have been sent to Dhulikhel Hospital for postmortem.
