Over 700 benefit from free eye camp organized by Shangrila Development Bank in Darchula
Darchula: More than 700 citizens have benefited from a free eye examination and treatment camp conducted by Shangrila Development Bank Limited in Darchula district.
According to the bank’s Darchula District Branch Manager Keshav Joshi, the free eye camp was organized at the District Hospital, Khalanga and Duhu Rural Municipality on Friday and Saturday as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The camp witnessed significant participation from local residents, public representatives, and various stakeholders. Branch Manager Joshi stated that the program, organized with a focus on citizens of remote areas, had a positive impact at the community level. The bank’s Marketing Head Arpana Bajracharya, Ujjwal Manandhar, and Cluster Chief Surendra Bista were also present at the event.
More than 700 service recipients received free eye examinations, consultations, and related services through the camp. The bank has expressed its commitment to continue similar social and health-focused programs in the coming days.
