Meena Aryal appointed Chief District Officer of Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura: The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred Deputy Secretary Meena Aryal as the Chief District Officer (CDO) of Dadeldhura. The ministry has again assigned the responsibility of Chief District Officer to the Deputy Secretary at the District Administration Office Dadeldhura, which had a vacancy for a Joint Secretary.

Aryal was sent to Dadeldhura as per the ministry’s decision on Friday. She was previously serving as the Chief District Officer of Tehrathum.

After the transfer of then Chief District Officer of Dadeldhura, Joint Secretary Bishnu Prasad Koirala, within about five months, the District Administration Office remained without a Chief District Officer for around two months.

Following this, Deputy Secretary Amar Bahadur Wali, who was serving as Assistant Chief District Officer, was given the responsibility of Chief District Officer on 27th Jestha. He has been handling the district’s administrative leadership since then.

With the arrival of Meena Aryal as Chief District Officer, Wali will return to the role of Assistant Chief District Officer.
