Woman found dead in Budhiganga River after jumping in Achham

Dhangadhi: A woman has been found dead in the Budhiganga River in Sanfebagar Municipality-2 of Achham.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Khina Khadka, a resident of Chaurpati Rural Municipality-5. Police said Khadka jumped into the river at around 7 am.

Locals working in nearby fields witnessed the incident and informed the police. During a subsequent search operation, Khadka was found dead in the river about one kilometer downstream from the point where she had jumped.

Police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
