Baitadi Woman Dies in Scorpio Accident in Makawanpur, Three Family Members Injured

Baitadi: A woman from Baitadi has died after a Scorpio accident in Makawanpur.

Laxmi Badu, 49, wife of 51-year-old Tara Dutta Badu of Surkal, Dasharathchand Municipality-7, Baitadi, died in the accident.

Tara Dutta Badu, their 25-year-old son Ritendra Badu and 31-year-old daughter Rita Badu were also seriously injured. They have been taken to Kathmandu Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6, Makawanpur, involving six people, including the Chief Justice of the High Court Janakpur, Temporary Bench Birgunj, and the Registrar.

Laxmi, one of the six injured, died during treatment. She was sent to Chhauni Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment through the Nepal Army Headquarters.
