Free Clothing Distribution Center Opens at Masthadham in Attariya

Attariya: A free clothing distribution center has been launched at Masthadham in Attariya, Kailali.

The Masthadham Management Committee began operating the center in Attariya on Thursday.

Ganesh Jimi Saud, Chairperson of the Masthadham Management Committee, stated that the center was established to distribute clothing free of charge to poor, destitute, and underprivileged individuals within the Godawari municipal area. He expressed confidence that the center would benefit those facing hardships due to a lack of clothing.

Chairperson Saud explained that the center would collect usable clothing that is often stored unused in households and distribute it to those in need. Noting that the committee has advanced the initiative as a long-term project, he added that branches would be opened to provide services if the need arises.

According to Chairperson Saud, 774 items of clothing have been collected so far. These garments will be distributed to individuals based on their needs.

The Masthadham Management Committee is currently constructing the Masthadham complex in Godawari Municipality-4 in accordance with a comprehensive master plan.

While some work under the master plan has been completed, other tasks remain pending due to a lack of funds. The committee launched the free clothing distribution center under the auspices of the Dham itself.

The center was inaugurated by Balbrahmachari Maharaj Shri Digambar Lomas Giri.
