Eight killed in 59 road accidents in Kailali during Magh

Kailali: The District Police Office, Kailali, has released its progress report on vehicle accidents and revenue collection for the month of Magh, revealing that 59 road accidents occurred during the period.

According to the report, 70 vehicles were involved in the accidents, resulting in eight fatalities and injuries to 69 individuals. Of the total accidents, 42 were attributed to driver error, while nine occurred due to passenger error.

During the same month, action was taken against 1,379 vehicles for violating traffic rules, leading to revenue collection amounting to Rs 11,52,500.

In an effort to enhance public awareness on road safety and traffic regulations, the office conducted 39 awareness programs throughout Magh.
