Labor culture party demands Prime Minister’s response in parliament

Kathmandu: Labor Culture Party Chairman Harkaraj Rai has emphasized that Prime Minister Balendra Shah should appear in the House of Representatives and respond to the issue that has emerged.

Speaking at today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Chairman Rai stressed that the government must remain accountable to Parliament. The meeting, originally scheduled for 11:00 AM, began at 3:15 PM following efforts to build consensus between the ruling and opposition parties.

The opposition has been raising concerns over the Prime Minister’s statement regarding the Nepal-India border and has demanded that he personally address the House to clarify the matter.
