Kailali imposes ban on non-essential vehicles for election day
Dhangadhi: The District Administration Office of Kailali has announced a ban on the use of non-essential vehicles during the House of Representatives elections scheduled for 21 Falgun. The restriction will be in effect from 12 midnight on Wednesday, 20 Falgun, until the completion of voting on the following day.
According to Shivraj Joshi, Administrative Officer of the District Administration Office, only vehicles providing essential services—including ambulances, water tankers, fire engines, telecommunications, hospital services, funeral processions, and electricity services—will be permitted to operate during this period.
Additionally, the administration stated that all vehicles, except those belonging to diplomatic missions and vehicles displaying the special 'CD' number plate, are prohibited from operating on election day.
