Six Injured as Auto Plunges into Kalanga River in Bajhang

Bajhang: Six people have been injured in an auto accident in Bajhang.

On Saturday, an auto bearing registration number Sudurpaschim Province 01-001 Ha 6012, heading from Bagthala Bazaar to Deura, met with an accident near the lower bazaar of Bagthala Bazaar. The auto fell into the Kalanga River about 200 meters below the road.

The injured have been identified as auto driver Yogendra Saund, 18, of Lekam, Sigas Rural Municipality-6, Baitadi; Laxman Saund, 22; Asmita Saund, 16; and Yogesh Bhandari, 18, of Kedarsyun Rural Municipality-1, Jupalikhet; and Ganga Saund, 16, of Sigas Rural Municipality-6.

Among the injured, Asmita Saund is in critical condition, while the condition of the other injured is normal and moderate, according to the District Police Office, Bajhang.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at the Rayal Primary Health Center, according to the police.
