Budhitola health center to serve as community training site for Geta University students

Attariya: Shahid Dasharath Chand University of Health Sciences is set to designate the Budhitola Basic Health Center in Godawari-4 as a community training site.

The university will utilize the health center, which operates under the jurisdiction of Godawari Municipality, as a community training site and field posting location for students enrolled in MBBS and other related academic programs.

An agreement regarding the establishment of the health center as a community training site was signed on Friday between Godawari Municipality and the university. University Registrar Dr. Bhim Bahadur Chand signed on behalf of the university, while Mayor Birendra Bhatta signed on behalf of the municipality.

Under the agreement, Godawari Municipality will facilitate the provision of practical, community-level health experience for students enrolled in various medical and health science programs that the university proposes to launch this academic session.

The agreement stipulates that the university may utilize the health facility and other necessary infrastructure for community-based training in accordance with its curriculum.

It further states that the university will use the Budhitola Basic Health Center as a community training site for various academic programs, as required, to conduct community-based field postings, training, studies, research, and other educational activities.
